This is the evening one. Full length, no print, sherpa where the cold actually gets in. It's what you put on after a bath or when the heating goes off, and it covers considerably more of you than a hoodie blanket does.

Most blanket robes stop at the knee and skip the lining to save money. Ours goes to the ankle or the floor, and carries a thick sherpa band in the three places you feel it: the hood, both cuffs, and the entire hem.

What you get, and why it matters

• Ankle or floor length — your legs and feet are covered standing up, which is the whole point of a robe over a throw
• Sherpa band at the hood, both cuffs and the full hem — draughts come in at the openings, so that's where the second layer goes

• 180cm brushes the floor. Suits roughly 5'7" and above
