How big is it?
180 x 150cm. That is big enough to cover two people on a sofa, or to lie across a double bed.
Is it safe to fall asleep under?
It has a four hour auto off and overheat protection built in, so it cannot be left running indefinitely. As with any electric blanket, do not use it folded or bunched up.
Can I put it in the washing machine?
Yes. Unplug the controller and the power lead first, then wash cold on a gentle cycle and tumble dry on low. Do not bleach and do not iron. Never wash it with the controller still attached.
Does it cost much to run?
Far less than central heating, because you are warming one person rather than a whole room. It draws a small fraction of what a plug in heater does, and the four hour auto off stops it running all night.
